    Decorative tin-glazed faience tray made in Rouen, France, around 1730 (Rouen Faience Tray). This octagonal banette with two handles features a basket of flowers painted in cobalt blue and iron red on an opaque white glaze. The rim is decorated with the characteristic galon rouennais, combining red crosshatching, stylized flowers, and blue scrolls. It is in very good condition, with both handles intact and its two original hanging holes preserved.

    This decorative Rouen Faience Tray, made in France around 1730, is a shallow octagonal banette with two side handles. A basket of flowers painted in cobalt blue and iron red occupies the center of the white glazed surface, surrounded by blue foliage and scrolls. Small floral motifs frame the composition, while the rim combines red crosshatching, stylized flowers, and scrolling decoration.

    The Rouen Faience Tray displays features characteristic of Rouen faience from this period: an opaque white tin glaze, high fire decoration in cobalt blue and iron red, and the galon rouennais pattern around the rim. The painted decoration extends onto the handles.

    It is in very good condition, with both handles intact and no cracks or restorations. It shows firing marks, light glaze crazing, and minimal wear along the edges. The reverse retains its two original hanging holes.
